The Exact Impact™ has been rigorously tested to ensure that its impact, energy and accuracy remain consistent and accurate through a wide range of engagement distances, from 5 feet to 100+ feet. It gives you a single choice of munition, so you don’t have to spend time deciding if you need a short-range or long-range munition. Plus, the smokeless powder of the Exact Impact™ gives you consistent velocities and unobscured vision.
The Direct Impact from Defense Technology™ is a modified version of the Exact Impact™ with a rigid, crushable foam nose incorporated with an aerodynamic external contour and a hollow internal cavity to carry a 5-gram payload. The available payload options include an inert powder, an OC irritant powder, or a fluorescent green marking compound.
The Sponge Round Reload Kit (250-shot) contains 25 yellow plastic projectiles designated for training only, 25 blue anodized aluminum shell bases w/ set screws and 250 propellant cartridges. Each projectile and shell base is intended to be used 10 times, then discarded. The rounds from the Exact Impact™ Reload Kit simulate the accuracy of the following rounds to a training range of 20 Meters. For training accuracy beyond 20 meters, the Sponge Round Training Kit is still recommended.
