G15 is a tactical dual-tube night vision binocular developed and manufactured by N-Vision Optics specifically for situation where mission performance and depth perception are critical factors. The unit utilizes two image intensifier tubes to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. Rugged, waterproof, and lightweight, G15 offers better depth perception and image clarity, than single tube systems, greatly improving the userâs ability to perform mission critical tasks.
G15 can be hand held, head, or helmet mounted. It is built from two GT-14 night vision monoculars that can be easily separated from each other. This provides a great flexibility for a user. Monoculars themselves can be independently hand held, head, helmet, weapon mounted or they may also be attached to a video camera.
The unit is fully submersible to a depth of 6.5 ft (2 meters). It is equipped with an invisible to the human eye short range infrared illuminator to assist with tasks that have to be performed in complete darkness, such as map reading and equipment repairs.
G-15 is offered with a choice of highest quality Generation 3, 2+, SuperGen, XD4, XR5 image intensifier tubes.
